200 U.S. Students and Teachers Gather in China
July 13, 2018 – July 21, 2018
In July 2018, PCC organized a cultural exchange visit for 200 U.S. students and teachers to China. The group visited prestigious institutions such as Hengshui High School, Zhengding High School, and Peking University, participating in an 8-day cultural exchange program.
During the camp, U.S. students gained insights into the Chinese education system and engaged in interactive learning with Chinese students. Through language and cultural exchange, Chinese students helped improve the English skills of their American peers while teaching Chinese idioms, poetry, and Mandarin.
Additionally, DeAnza High School signed a memorandum of understanding with Chinese schools, establishing a formal U.S.-China school friendship for future educational cooperation. The event received enthusiastic responses from parents and students, with growing interest in the summer camp, and it strengthened cultural exchange between Chinese and American youth while promoting deeper international educational collaboration.
