When I first read about going to China, I didn’t think that it would be like this. I have always had such a passion to go to China. I love the culture. On the this trip, I didn’t expect to meet so many new people the way I did that beginning week. It was only full of joy! When they told us that we would stay with host families, I was sketched out. I was sketched out in the way that I was going to stay with a stranger. When I met Dolores, she did not feel like a stranger at all. It’s like I knew her already. It was an experience “taking a class”. I didn’t understand it but I was just amazed on how everyone participated and was putting in effort. I saw how hard working all the students are.
