From August 25–30, 2026, PCC hosted a six-day Traditional Chinese Medicine and Tea Culture Exchange Program in China, bringing together 27 participants for a meaningful combination of education, cultural exploration, and international exchange. The delegation included university scholars and PhD students, whose participation added valuable academic perspectives to the program.

The program provided participants with opportunities to discover the philosophy, history, and practical applications of Traditional Chinese Medicine while gaining firsthand experience with the art and traditions of Chinese tea culture. Through interactive learning sessions, cultural activities, site visits, and educational exchanges, participants were able to connect traditional knowledge with contemporary Chinese life and society.

Beyond the educational experience, the program created a platform for participants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds to connect and exchange perspectives. By learning together and engaging directly with local culture, participants developed a deeper understanding of Chinese traditions while building connections across cultures and generations.

The involvement of professors and doctoral students also contributed to thoughtful academic and cultural dialogue, demonstrating the value of international programs that bring together education, cultural heritage, and people-to-people exchange.

Through initiatives such as this, PCC continues to foster global learning and cross-cultural understanding, creating opportunities for participants from the United States and China to learn from one another, build lasting connections, and experience the richness of cultural exchange firsthand.
